Day 10: To The Underground

It was a good thing that we went to bed early because we had to be up by 7:30 having already eaten breakfast to start our day tour!

We met our main tour guide, Beth, and she was AWESOME!  She really had alot of patience with all of us and considering our group size and each of us wanting to do something different, she kept track of time and being on schedule.
(I'll show you a picture of her later.)
We used the Gabay sa Turismo Tourist Transport Service and our group was accomodated in 2 vans.

The city of Puerto Princesa has grown alot in 20 years and unpaved roads then were already busy streets.  However, the city has retained it's natural beauty and although it is much bigger and busier, does not show any unappealing signs of large commercial buildings or unsightly evidences of a grotesque urban sprawl.
This place has worked really hard to preserve the theme "untouched" and does not allow trucks or large jeeps on the island.  So sights as the picture above is typical.  Notice the beauty of the roads and countryside.
